"The left eye, our treasured left eye, will never fall into the hands of another!"
My Bayonetta's clock, the references used, and the vector drawings of all its parts (made/collected/drawn by myself).
I've collected the reference pics in the scene of the second chapter, in which Jeanne takes the clock, and it's shown several times in several ways. I think it's the only scene in which it's shown so well, and I'm sure it's the only one in which you can see the back too.
I've made it with plywood for my own cosplay ([link]
), but I had to fix many parts after the convention, first of all the red gem, that broke before even getting there. For the con, I added on the back a fuctional clock, but it couldn't work because the hands weren't protected by any glass, so they detached everytime something touched them, so I just took it away, and sticked new hands. I've sticked them at 11:17, which is my time of birth (just because I needed a time that meant something and was different from 00:00).
The writing says "In Umbra Cereza 1911 19 12" in Umbran alphabet (also pictured in the collage).
My clock is missing some details or they aren't correct because I've made it before drawing carefully the patterns.
HOW I DID IT:
- I've drawn patterns like the vectors in the pic and I cut them
- Drawn them on wood
- Cut and sanded them
- Sticked them all together
- Carved the marks
- Painted the whole thing
- Bought the right gems (made of resin) and sticked them
- Cut the hands from a plastic sheet and sticked them too
- Finally added the Left Eye!
I hope it may help
