Serah Farron cosplay armband by Tifax Serah Farron cosplay armband by Tifax
Serah Farron armband/bracelet, made for my own cosplay. It requested a lot of maths calculations D: But I'm very satisfied about how it came out, especially because i managed to put the buttons in the right place <3 This has been hard, but it looks almost perfect, I'm really proud **
Made of fake leather, sticked to paper, cut, and then interlaced and sticked again.
It has been quite a fast work, I didn't expect it.
Fat arm .w.

Do you have maybe a pattern for this? Or even a quick description on how you did it? I'm going to cosplay as Serah and I'd really like to get this to look good (: Thank you

I don't have any pattern of that, but I'll try to explain how I did, although it's quite difficult even in my own languege.
Well, there are three rows of little squares, focus on the middle one (the one without the buttons). In the original bracelet, there are ten of them, so you have to take the circumference of your arm (between the shoulder and the biceps) and divide it into ten parts. Each part is the diagonal line of a little square, now you have to find their side. To do this, divide the diagonal by the square root of 2. Now you have the side. Each piece of the bracelet in a string, whose measures are width=side, height=3side.
Make twenty of them (two for each square). Take two of them and make a x shape by simply overlaying them; their intersection is the square. Now interlace the crosses: each string must pass once over and once under the other strings, to make a regular pattern.
Hope it helps ^^"
